a red and spicy version of hummous
Ingredients for 2 people:
200g of precooked chickpeas
100g of red pepper
1 tbsp. of tahin
2 tbsp. of chilli oil (or 2 tbsp. of oil + 1 pinch of chilli powder)
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp. of salt
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
1/2 tsp. of paprika powder
Rinse the chickpeas in cold water and tip into the food processor. Add peeled garlic.
Halve the red pepper, remove the seeds and cut the pepper into small pieces. Put it in the food processor. Add the tahin, 1 tbsp. of oil, salt, paprika powder and lemon juice.
Turn on the food processor. When the mixture is fully combined and smooth, tip it into serving dishes. Top it with 1 tbsp. of oil (and for example with some corn grains or parsley)
Enjoy the pepper hummous.
